This review follows the story of Interstellar, directed, and cowriten by Christopher Nolan. This standalone movie follows the story of a future and grim Earth where humanity is struggling for food. Climate change has rattled the world, and a last ditch effort to space is our only chance!
The story follows the turmoils main character Cooper faces. From emotional distress, scientific challenges, and simply staying alive this movie is full of suspense and wonder.
The most memoerable scene to me is when Cooper watches his
childnen's tapes growing up after being away from the ship for an
equivalent of twenty-three Earth years. After watching his son grow up,
and begin to lose faith in his father he finally watches his daughter's
only clip to him.
Hey Dad. You sonabitch. Never made one of these while you were still
responding because I was so mad at you for leaving. And when you went
quiet, it seemed like I should live with that decision, and I have. But
today's my birthday. And it's a special one, because you told me... you
once told me that by the time you came back we might be the same age.
And today I'm the same age you were when you left.
...
So it'd be a real good time for you to come back.
